Open Graph & Twitter Card Debugger

Enter a URL and we fetch its Open Graph and Twitter Card tags so you can see exactly how the link will preview on social and chat apps.

What this tool checks

What renders the card

og:title + og:image are the load-bearing tags. Without an image, links share as a bare text link — far lower click-through.

X falls back to Open Graph

If twitter:card is missing, X usually reuses your Open Graph tags. Setting twitter:card to summary_large_image gives the big preview.

This tool sees your page from the outside

The free Aetos plugin sees inside your WordPress.

This tool checks what a bot sees from a public URL. The free Aetos edition runs a real audit from inside WordPress — across your pages and WordPress environment — so it catches signals an outside view cannot see.

Free edition, no card. Pro adds additional analysis modules, exports, and the AI fix assistant. Want us to do it for you? Talk to the team → Talk to the team
FAQ

Common questions

Why does my preview look old? +

Platforms cache OG data. After fixing tags, use the platform's own debugger (e.g. Facebook Sharing Debugger) to force a re-scrape.

What image size should og:image be? +

1200×630 px is the safe ratio for a large card across platforms. We report whether the tag exists; we don't fetch the image itself.
